The residential program at Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools is an experience in itself and is a true sense of a home away from home. The environment is protective and attentive like home and, at the same time, makes children independent enough to grow as individuals in their own right. Our Boarding house has students from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds exposing them to a variety of cultures. The mission is not only to impart education in the classroom but also to help children become well-informed individuals.
The best learning takes place amongst students during midnight feasts, peer mentoring, extracurricular activities including sports, movie nights, weekly outings, and pillow fights forging firm friendships for life.
A close-knit atmosphere, combined with the international flavor of students from different countries, makes the school a truly unique learning environment. Pastoral Care is at the heart of JPIS ethos, providing personal attention in academics, personality development, and talent/skill enhancement, preparing students for successful careers and lives ahead.
The Residential Program at JPIS offers a home away from home, balancing a protective environment with opportunities for independence. Extra Saturday classes ensure academic success, while democratic processes like the Hostel Council empower students to shape their living experience.
Each floor, tailored for Junior, Middle, and High School, fosters camaraderie and is supervised by experienced staff dedicated to individual student needs. Under the guidance of pastoral care leadership, students and staff develop effective leadership skills and maintain a positive school culture.
Residential Facilities
Our international boarding accommodations offer single-sex arrangements for students, with each room shared by four students. Equipped with individual study tables, wardrobes, and air conditioning, rooms are well-lit with natural light and feature personal attached bathrooms. Common rooms on each floor provide ample space for socializing, reading, and entertainment, fostering intercultural interaction.
Secure Wi-Fi connectivity allows for anytime, anywhere learning, while personalization options create a homely atmosphere. Experienced residential house parents provide emotional support, and faculty tutors oversee small tutor groups, ensuring students’ welfare and academic progress.
Our well-equipped school infirmary, staffed with a resident nurse and visiting doctor, offers comprehensive medical care. Routine checks and prophylactic treatments, along with immediate care for emergencies, are provided. Tie-ups with top hospitals ensure prompt treatment for serious illnesses or injuries. Regular health checkups and clinics promote physical and mental well-being among students.
At JPIS, we believe in holistic care. Whether it’s a physical injury on the field or an emotional bruise from a disagreement, our house parents are there to support students day or night. They serve as protectors, guides, friends, counselors, and role models, ensuring students feel supported and empowered.
Professional counseling and medication are available for personal development and conflict resolution. Our Personal and Social Education program covers topics like personal relationships, adolescence, peer pressure, and stress management.
The Boarding Program is supplemented with various Adventure, Cultural and Social trips for children to have a sense of the real world. Jaipur is a bustling town with all modern amenities and entertainment such that supervised and chaperoned trips are organized fortnightly. Weekend activities, Musical evenings, Bonfire Nights and Talent Shows are also organized which provides us a platform to showcase our talents.
You may stay away from home, but you are never far away from fun and celebration. India as a country is known for its many colorful festivals. We bring these festivities to our campus on every given occasion. This creates a home like atmosphere and does not let anyone feel they have missed out on anything.
In today’s day and age where both parents are working and live in a nuclear family, Week boarding is a useful option. The students stay in school throughout the week till Friday afternoon and report back to school on Monday morning.
We are involved in all the activities that the school has to offer; and at the same time we go home for the weekends and get to spend quality time with the members of our family. This helps us remain closely connected with our parents, siblings, friends and extended family. We are even allowed to stay back in school for special events in case required.
